Before we explain what is Augmented Reality (AR), we would like to first ask, what is “Google”?Yeah seriously, what is Google? The word was once never existed and nobody ever heard of back in 1998. And when Google started to become famous whilst making its way to world domination, people become more wary of the word – its services, its value and the solution it offers. People rely on Google. They fell in love with the company and it is now the one thing that people can’t live without.Now coming back to AR, people started to ask that one question in hope to understand how AR is changing the world. While Google is a company, AR is more of a term given to the technology that modifies the views of the real world using a computer. And by “computer” it can mean anything with processor, display, sensors and input devices, including smartphones.By definition, AR is
a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user’s view of the real world, thus providing a composite view.
The word “AR” was first alien to the whole world, just like when Google was founded. Nobody knows or become aware of this technology until it is seen and incorporated into movies such as Iron Man.
